Here is the finished kids vest. The interlocking diamonds are cute, very boyish (if I do say so myself).

And here is the new yarn I got from knitpicks. I’m designing another kid’s vest with fair isle patterns.

My sister has agreed to photograph her kids in them (see a photo of the cuties below), and I might submit the pattern with the two colorways to knitty.com.

I’m also designing a scarf for myself. Those of you who know me will notice my bold attempt to broaden my color horizons. For the scarf, I’m going to try intarsia for the first time. It seems pretty easy. (right?)
