Fall Rain Scarf PATTERN
Fall in Boston has its own special weather. It rains a great deal (sometimes for days), but it’s also warm enough to keep wearing cute tank tops and cool enough to start wearing fun, knitted accessories. A winning combination. This scarf makes a great first intarsia project. The maximum number of skeins in a row is five, and the squares are easy to keep track of.

FINISHING
Weave in all ends. Neat finishing is the key to pulling of an intarsia scarf with no backing to hide the wrong side. With each end, trace over at least three stitches of the same color and cut the yarn as short as possible.
It’s probably best to do the finishing as you go along instead of waiting to the end.
